Avijit Goswami, LLB, FCMA, FCS, CPA (USA), CMA (USA), Dip. in Business Finance (ICFAI)  

He has versatile experience of around 30 years in different industries in India and UAE. His experience spans over several sectors, such as, Manufacturing, Retail, Hospitality, Real Estate, and Academia. He gained in-depth knowledge and experience in establishing and developing several retail and real estate businesses in UAE. He served for several years as “Director – Finance and Investments” in a Dubai government owned company, which is engaged in the business of Supermarket Chains, Trading and Real Estate. Some of his areas of professional expertise are formulating Business Finance Policies and Procedures, Fund Management, implementing effective Finance and Inventory Management Systems (MS-NAV, RMS, SAP-FICO, and other ERPs), and Cost Control and Management Systems. He also has an interest in the fields of E-commerce, IT Securities, Taxation, and Corporate Laws. He has outstanding contribution in serving the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He served as Honorary Vice-Chairman and Chairman of EIRC of the Institute in the years 1999 and 2000 respectively and as a Central Council Member of the Institute during the period from 2015 to 2019. As a Central Council Member, he contributed in different important committees of the Institute including all important Finance Committee, Examination Committee, Disciplinary Committee, Professional Development Committee, Banking and Insurance Committee and the International Affairs Committee. Mr. Goswami has also served as a member of the International Taxation Committee of the Associated Chamber of Commerce of India (ASSOCHAM). 

Pranab Ray, B.Sc., M. Com, FCMA

He is a consulting industry veteran having many years of global consulting experience. He has more than 30 years of overall post-qualification experience of working in different senior positions in both public and private sector entities in India and abroad. During his service tenure, he held the position of Head of Finance/Controller of Finance in a Telecom and Internet Service Provider company promoted by a fortune 500 company having its headquarter in UAE and held a senior managerial position for Deloitte & Touche LLP, USA in conducting global Audit and Enterprise Risk Services and Consulting businesses. He had also served as a Senior Professional Services Consultant for a renowned Canada based ERP solutions provider and a global leader in providing Integrated Financial Management Information Systems to public sector entities and the governments. These apart, he has detailed experience of working as a senior professional in a UK based multinational KPO company and made distinctive contribution in different content developments and supported substantially in implementing lean business process (six sigma) in the company. In his long international career, Mr. Ray had also successfully rendered consultancy services towards Public Financial Management, and Capacity Building as a freelancer to the governments in some of the developing nations under some World Bank sponsored projects.  Mr. Ray has exposure of providing taxation and accounting services in many jurisdictions. During the tenure of practice, some of the noteworthy services that he provided include Direct and Indirect Taxation advisory support to his clients; Cost Audit in plantation industry; Product Cost Reduction study; Due diligence study, supporting and consulting the clients in the entire process of export and import of goods and services. Also as a practicing professional, he did internal audit, inventory and receivable audits, and asset valuations, and helped the firm’s clients avail bank finance, Bill Discounting, Cash Credit facility, L.C., Bank Guarantee, etc. and prepared several project feasibility reports, together with preparing all necessary and ancillary documents for the clients. 

Ravi Krishnamoorty, B.Com, FCA, CPA (USA), CFA (Level 1 - USA)

He has over 40 years of rich experience in handling all facets of Finance, Accounting including IFRS and GAAP compliant Accounting, Internal Audit and Corporate Governance processes, Compliance Matters including Direct and Indirect Taxes. In the process of working at different capacities in the senior management with different large organizations in India, UAE, and in other countries, he gained deep expertise in operations management, project management and execution, and in managing multiple projects simultaneously. He has many years of experience of working remotely managing teams to execute work, cater to the clients, and resolve issues keeping up with the needs of modern-day management functioning. He has hands on experience in managing from remote (from Bangalore, India) more than a dozen outsourcing jobs for the clients in Dubai, UAE. His forte in professional competence includes streamlining operations and business processes, financial and operational controls, productivity improvements, effective change management, strong leadership, inter-personal and communication skills. His industry experience includes healthcare, automobile, manufacturing, supply chain, retail, NGOs, and different service industries. Also, he has hands on experience in working with different Accounting / MIS ERP, such as, Tally, Oracle Financials, NetSuite, Quick Book, and others.
